Enchanted Oasis, one of my favorite immersive experiences, is back at insideOUT in Hillcrest. The outdoor courtyard transforms into a fantasy world with vibrant colors, twinkling lights, glowing willow trees, and giant butterflies floating overhead.
You can go for dinner, with seasonal California-Mediterranean cuisine from Executive Chef Johnny Duran. Or just go for drinks (the cocktail area and atrium lounge have mystical-themed cocktails and light bites).

Chef Johnny Duran always creates something special, and the menu for Enchanted Oasis is no exception. In addition to the regular menu, the new items include:
- UNAGI GLAZED ATLANTIC SALMON – cucumber sunomono, lomi tomato, citrus ponzu, toasted sesame, furikake rice cake
- CHILEAN SEA BASS – butterfly pea flower fumet, celeriac puree, patty pan squash, heirloom carrot, sea beans, lemon-herb broth
- BRAISED LAMB SHANK TAGINE (SERVES 2) – ras el hanout, apricot, walnut, barberry, saffron basmati rice, mint salsa verde
- CREMA CATALINA – Spanish crème brûlée infused with orange zest and warm spices
Enchanted Oasis cocktails
The cocktails at Enchanted Oasis are just as much a part of the experience as the food. They are colorful, playful, and perfect for photos. Some come with glitter, others shimmer with bright colors, and all of them taste as good as they look.
- Moonlit Petal – $17: Tanqueray gin, Sarti Rosa, sweet vermouth, simple syrup, lemon, vegan foam
- Mango Encanto – $17: Bacardi (infused with toasted rice), Illegal mezcal, Giffard banana, mango puree, simple syrup, lime, topped with coconut cold foam
- Neon Garden – $19: Ketel One peach vodka (infused with Szechuan flower), herbal liqueur, Grand Marnier, falernum, lemon, simple syrup
- Mystic Grove – $18: choice of Lalo tequila or Amaras mezcal, Campari, Aperol, orgeat, pineapple juice, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, lime
- Drink Me Shot – $11: Deep Eddy vodka, Sarti Rosa, pink glitter
