If you are looking to discover the best Little Italy brunch spot to jump start your weekend, then I’ve found a restaurant you will want to try. This was my third visit to Crudo Cevicheria & Oyster Bar – the first two meals were to enjoy dishes from their dinner menu. I recall being so impressed with the tostadas, fresh seafood, trendy and cozy environment.
This weekend I went back to try the new brunch menu. It is innovative, offers a variety of dishes that showcase their fresh seafood, and new items that you won’t find on other brunch menus. Crudo Cevicheria & Oyster Bar is the go-to spot for a memorable Little Italy brunch.
Located in Little Italy, my meal was one easily one of the most innovative brunches I have enjoyed this year. For seafood lovers, you will appreciate the variety of dishes they have with crab, tuna, shrimp, red snapper and octopus. If you’re craving fresh seafood, nothing beats a Little Italy brunch at Crudo.
Crudo takes so much pride in the quality of their fresh seafood. They attribute it to buying high quality ingredients and having very little storage place in the kitchen.
They also have modern takes on more traditional brunch dishes. If you don’t want seafood, the egg dishes, chilaquiles, breakfast croissant, and bread pudding french toast are all great choices. Make your weekend special with a unique Little Italy brunch experience.
Crudo has done a lovely job of creating an enjoyable and casual Little Italy brunch vibes. The toughest choice I had to make, was deciding which dishes to order. I wanted to get a mix of some of the new items intended for brunch, and their most popular seafood items. I did not get to try the Chilaquiles Con Marlin, or Crab & Poached Eggs – both of which came highly recommended.
In addition to their craft cocktail menu, they have orange, mango and pomegranate mimosas for brunch. A Little Italy brunch at Crudo Cevicheria & Oyster Bar is perfect for food lovers.
YELLOWTAIL TIRADITO – Avocado cream, yuzukosho, caviar, lemon grass
TWO FACE TOSTADA – Tuna, callo de hacha, guajillo mayo, avocado, crispy shallots, house ponzu, greens
TUNA TARTARE – Blood orange vinaigrette, crunchy garlic, sturgeon caviar
SALMON TOAST – Sourdough, labneh, cured salmon, sundried tomatoes, dill
BREAKFAST CROISSANT – Guajillo aioli, soft scrambled egg, shaved parmesan, and caramelized leeks
