This is the first Chef Fei restaurant in North America, bringing the popular Hunan Chinese restaurant brand to San Diego. The menu focuses on high-heat stir-fry cooked to order by master chefs, creating the smoky wok hei that makes these dishes so delicious and distinctive. My favorites include the Signature Stir-Fried Beef with Peppers made with Snake River Farms Wagyu, and Crispy Pineapple Orange Chicken. Chef Fei now has more than 200 restaurants in China and has served more than 100 million guests.

The food at The Amalfi Llama is fresh and delicious, making it one of my favorite UTC Westfield restaurants. The style is a fusion of Mediterranean and Patagonia, with a focus on live-fire cooking. I’d recommend the New York strip, wood-fired pizzas, tuna tartare, and cedar-plank-roasted salmon. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Both are modern, cozy, and intimate. The ambiance and service are warm and friendly. They also have a large bar with plenty of seating, a highlight among UTC Westfield restaurants.
DIN TAI FUNG
Sip, slurp, and enjoy soup-erb dumplings and noodles at Din Tai Fung. It is a standout spot in the list of UTC Westfield restaurants. My favorites are the cucumber salad, chicken spicy wontons, and spinach with garlic. I also love noodles with spicy sauce, braised beef noodle soup, shrimp fried rice, and chocolate & mochi xiao long bao. I highly recommend making an online reservation. Every bite of Din Tai Fung‘s hand-pulled noodles is worth the wait if you didn’t make a reservation.
JAVIER'S
Elevated and authentic Mexican cuisine is served at Javier’s, which is why it is seen as one of the top UTC Westfield restaurants. And just as impressive as the food is the décor, ambiance, drink selection, and outstanding service. I’d highly recommend the braised angus short ribs in chile negro sauce and the trio de ceviche.
TRUE FOOD KITCHEN
I am a regular customer at True Food Kitchen because they consistently serve healthy, delicious dishes. The food is always explained well by their servers, and dish recommendations are given with enthusiasm. The vibes are casual and inviting, making it a must-visit among UTC Westfield restaurants. Pacific Catch has 13 locations in California and focuses on high-quality sustainable seafood. They have a diverse menu that includes poke, ceviche, sushi, tacos, and burgers. The restaurant has a modern, casual atmosphere and a full bar. The staff is always accommodating in every way. Their UTC Westfield restaurant is very popular.
RAMEN NAGI
Five things to know before you visit Ramen Nagi, now part of the UTC Westfield restaurants. The broth is available in five flavors, like Red King (spicy), Green Kim (basil), and Black King (squid ink). You can customize your bowl, including the salt, garlic, oil, and noodles. Their chicken karaage appetizer is a must-order. Mushroom and cauliflower soup is used to make their vegan ramen, and two large potato pancakes are added. With 40 restaurants, including those in Los Angeles and San Francisco. I’m so happy we finally have one in San Diego.
QUEESTOWN BISTRO
Even though Queenstown Bistro is located in the middle of a mall, the ambiance is super relaxing. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and there is plenty of parking. Known for their New Zealand-style dishes, they have great NZ meat pies and some incredible burgers. They also have locations in La Jolla, Del Mar, and Little Italy, and a different concept called DunedIin in North Park. It’s a must-try among UTC Westfield restaurants.
RAISED BY WOLVES
Raised by Wolves is an elegant speakeasy bar that transports guests to a bygone era of prohibition glamour. This unique spot adds flair to the UTC Westfield restaurants and bars experience. A revolving fireplace entrance inside a high-end liquor store is where it is hidden. The bar features opulent decor, expertly crafted mixology, and an intimate ambiance. It is a unique concept with meticulous attention to detail. Raised by Wolves offers a one-of-a-kind immersive experience for those seeking it.
SHAKE SHACK
Juicy, perfectly seasoned patties and soft, pillowy buns are the stars of the show at Shake Shack. You will get high-quality food at a great value. It’s easy to see why it’s one of the most visited UTC Westfield restaurants for fast-food.
SMASHBURGER
If you’re looking for a burger that’s all about flavor and quality, Smashburger should be on your list. Their signature technique of “smashing” the beef on a hot grill locks in the juices. It gives each burger a perfectly crispy edge. They use fresh, never-frozen Angus beef and pair it with premium buns and toppings, so each bite tastes gourmet.
TENDER GREENS
Tender Greens is a casual, healthy option while at the mall. They serve relatively large portions, and although it is slightly costly, the quality of the dishes makes it worth it. The dishes center on organic salads in various varieties and sizes. Try the seared ahi for great flavors.
