UTC Westfield restaurants used to be limited to the food court, where there were plenty of options for fast and casual food. When the mall was upgraded, the options for better food expanded exponentially, with everything from exclusive fine dining, to fast food chains and international dining options.

DIN TAI FUNG
Sip, slurp and enjoy soup-erb dumplings and noodles at Din Tai Fung. My favorites are the cucumber salad, chicken spicy wontons, spinach with garlic, noodles with spicy sauce, braised beef noodle soup, shrimp fried rice, chocolate & mochi xiao long bao. I highly recommend making an online reservation. Every bite of their hand-pulled noodles is worth waiting in line if you didn’t make a reservation. Read my review of all the best dishes to order at Din Tai Fung.
The Mexican cuisine at Javier’s is elevated and authentic – just as impressive as the food, is the décor, ambiance, drink selection, and outstanding service. I’d highly recommend the braised angus short ribs in chile negro sauce, and trio de ceviche.
Pacific Catch has 13 locations in California and focuses on high-quality sustainable seafood. They recently added three bowls like the red Curry Bowl which has good heat and huge flavor from the pickled red fresno chilies and sautéed shrimp.
Five things to know before you visit Ramen Nagi:

🍜 You can customize your bowl – everything including the salt, garlic, oil and noodles (thin, thick, corn, soft, etc)
🐓 Their chicken karaage appetizer is a must order!
🌱 Their vegan ramen is made with mushroom and cauliflower soup, and has two large potato pancakes
🇯🇵 They care so much about quality, that chef Satoshi Ikuta flew in from Tokyo to oversee the kitchen
With 40 restaurants including those in Los Angeles and San Francisco, I’m so happy we finally have one in San Diego.
Even though Queenstown Bistro is located in the middle of a mall, the ambiance is super relaxing, the food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and there is plenty of parking. Known for their New Zealand style-dishes, they have great NZ meat pies, pretzels with cheese sauce, and some incredible burgers. They also have locations in La Jolla and Little Italy, and a different concept called DunedIin in North Park.
RAISED BY WOLVES
Raised by Wolves is an elegant speakeasy bar that transports guests to a bygone era of prohibition glamour. Hidden behind a revolving fireplace entrance inside a high-end liquor store, the bar features opulent decor, expertly crafted mixology, and an intimate ambiance. With its unique concept and meticulous attention to detail, Raised by Wolves offers a one-of-a-kind experience for those seeking an immerisive experince.
Juicy, perfectly seasoned patties and soft pillowy buns are the star of the show at Shake Shack. You will get high-quality food at a great value – it’s so easy to understand why they have a huge following.
Sweetfin is a Chef-driven, California-inspired poke bowl concept that uses local produce, sustainable fish, and innovative ingredients to create healthy dishes. Everything on the menu is gluten-free, and they have lots of vegetarian options. Sweetfin is a healthy option, especially when at the mall.
Tender Greens is a casual, healthy option while at the mall. They serve relatively large portions, and although it is slightly costly, the quality of the dishes makes it worth it. The dishes center around organic salads that come in different varieties, and sizes and with various accompaniments – try the seared ahi for great flavors.
