Here are some of my favorites that I’d recommend for your next San Diego date night. They are perfect for your third date or your third anniversary.  They are listed alphabetically.

Cannonball (Mission Beach)

🍽️ Order: Tuna Sensation roll, Steak tataki, spicy octopus, nigiri. They are light, shareable, and easy to enjoy together.
🍷 Sip: Tropical rum-based cocktail for that relaxed, beachy tone.
🪑 Best Seat: Rooftop at sunset for ocean breeze and boardwalk views.
💸 Cost: $$ (fun without feeling pricey).
💬 Mood: Early-date energy, as it is casual but memorable. This spot works well for a San Diego date night when you want good food and an easy vibe.

Cucina Urbana (Bankers Hill)

🍽️ Order: Whole branzino, Cucina burger, or margherita pizza.
🍷 Sip: Just about anything they’d recommend from their extensive wine collection.
🪑 Best Seat: Bar area for a casual date, quiet seating by the wine market.

💸 Cost: $$$

Juniper & Ivy (Little Italy)

Kettner Exchange (Little Italy)

Matsu (Oceanside)

🍽️ Order: 10-course tasting menu with seasonal Japanese dishes for thoughtful flavors and beautiful presentation.
