Sina The Gray: Best luxury hotel stay in Milan

If you are thinking of visiting Milan, then you must consider staying at Sina The Gray hotel. It’s located in the heart of Milan, just 100 meters from the breathtaking Duomo Cathedral. We took the metro from the airport to the Duomo. And as you ascend the steps of the metro to the Duomo square you are met with the most magnificent view of the Duomo. The Cathedral is spectacularly lit up at night and Duomo square is such a place to behold. Locals and tourists gather in the square throughout the year.

Sina The Gray

Sina The Gray screams modern elegance. It is without a doubt a 5-star sophisticated hideaway right in the heart of Milan.  The hotel lobby features an eye-catching red and fuchsia hanging swing couch as you enter the space.  And right of the lobby is the G Bar, which is an ideal choice for a quick drink or coffee break after shopping our exploring the city. And the Aria is an exclusive, intimate and refined bar terrace where the daily ritual of an afternoon aperitif is not to be missed.

The hotel has twenty one  rooms and suites that are modern with ethnic touches, floating beds, and in some cases, a large Turkish bath in the luxury bathroom suites. The room that we stayed in had an incredible view of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. And we found ourselves relaxing in our room some afternoons, enjoying that view.  We truly felt we were right in the heart of it all.

WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge. Hotel guests have access to a full gym that is down the street. The hotel also serves a wonderful breakfast buffet in a beautiful room above the lobby and the staff is welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast spread includes everything from fresh fruit and pastries and cereals, to meats and cheeses. And the breakfast also features a wide range of fresh juices including orange, pear and grapefruit juice, along with having a full range of coffee options as well. We found this to be the perfect way to start our day and looked forward to the breakfast every morning of our stay.

For us, this was the heart of Milan. And the Gray hotel’s location doesn’t get much better than this. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping arcade is across the street, the Duomo is a stone’s throw away and the city’s Fashion District is a ten-minute walk away. There are plenty of museums in the area too, including the Museo del Novecento. Also the restaurant options were incredible and right out the front door of our hotel.

If we ever get back to Milan you can bet that we will go back to Sina the Gray.
